I have been reading like a fiend since my first knee surgery. And what's REALLY weird is that for years I have been a one-book-at-a-time girl but now I'm reading three books at once (not counting my read-the-Bible-in-a-year program). Part of this was inspired by the process of organizing my books -- I kept seeing so many great books that I own but have not read, so I decided to read some of my own books. But -- I really prefer reading books on my Kindle, so I figured I'd read two books at a time -- one "dead tree" book and one ebook. Then I decided to reread all of the books I own that were written by Alexandra Stoddard -- I have more than twenty. So that's what I read. Maybe after I finish the Alexandra Stoddard books I'll just read two at a time. I only read one novel at a time, but I try always to have a novel in process. Right now I'm reading a book on color theory (by Alexandra Stoddard), a book called Future Grace by John Piper, and The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway. It's the first Hemingway I've ever read and that was a deficiency that I figured should not persist.
