Yes, I know this is silly, but I've made a correction to my nonfiction reading list. I mentioned it at Bible study tonight and one of the guys there asked if I had Adam Smith (Wealth of Nations) on the list. I KNEW I should have put it on there -- I just didn't want to. Well, I took off the Covey book (The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) which I was kind of embarrassed about anyway, and added that. I know no one would have known, but I had to explain.

I suppose the next thing to do is to post my Christian reading list. Now, everything on this list is not something I'll agree with down to the last line. Some of the works are listed because they are foundational works -- by Athanasius, Augustine, John of the Cross, etc. There are works by Bunyan, Calvin, Luther, etc. As a rule, the more modern books are by authors I know and trust, or are recommended by seminaries or theologians that I respect. So it's not a list, exactly, of 100 classics -- but it's a list of 100 solid, heavy-duty theological works, including a heavy sprinkling of classics.
