Listening to a Hillsdale Dialogue. Someone brings up Hobbes or Locke or one of those sorts and Hugh Hewitt complains that reading Hobbes (I'm almost sure he said Hobbes) was a real snooze fest.
Larry Arnn is from Arkansas, so he speaks with a soft southern accent and sometimes uses colorful phrases. But he also comes out with some real doozies and his soft delivery makes them even funnier. In response to Hewitt's complaint about Hobbes Arnn said (with a slow, southern delivery), "I think we should abstract from the debate between pleasure and stern discipline, the wrong side of which you have taken."
Cracked me up so much I had to go back and re-listen so I could copy it.
